NJ Law Enforcement Entry Exam Review Seminars
The New Jersey Civil Service Commission tentatively plans to administer the law enforcement entry exam in the Summer of 2026. The exam is called the Law Enforcement Aptitude Battery (LEAB).
The information that follows here should be of interest to all candidates who will be testing.
The LEAB consists of three test components: the Ability Test (Cognitive), Work Styles Questionnaire (Personality), and the Life Experience Survey (BioData).
In regards to the exam, the test content to be used will be dictated by the results of the Job Analyses and the test plan. Civil Service recently stated that:
- Applications are expected to be available on Spring of 2026.
- The written exam is tentatively planned for Summer of 2026.
- Candidates will be rank ordered as a result of the written exam and placed on a hiring list.
In order to prepare candidates for the next law enforcement entry exam, Bernstein Test Prep will be offering a series of paid seminars. The seminars will cover “How to Best prepare for the NJ Law Enforcement Entry Exam.” During the seminars, candidates will be reviewed on all areas of the law enforcement entry exam. Those who attend will be fully prepared!
